LAHORE: Food and drink, parties and trips abroad have been banned in the offices of LESCO, an electric company in the provincial capital Lahore. Sources said that the funds raised by the company will be spent on improving the power supply system.
According to details, LESCO (Lahore Electric Supply Company), a power distribution company in Lahore, the provincial capital of Punjab, has finalized its budget for the new financial year.
The new budget will be approved by the Board of Directors.
Sources said that the development budget volume of the new financial year is Rs 7.5 billion. In the new financial year, there will be recruitment for 11,000 vacancies and various grids will be upgraded.
The company also banned the purchase of new vehicles, food and drink at offices, parties and trips abroad. Sources said that the funds raised by the company will be spent on improving the system.
According to sources, dead defaulters will be given a deadline of June 30 to pay their bills and after June all connections will be cut off. Bills have also been banned.
