Great news for Karachi students The federal government has decided to set up a women’s university in Karachi.

According to ARY News, there is great good news for female students in Karachi, the largest city in the country, and the federal government has decided to set up a women’s university in Karachi, which will be built in collaboration with the Sindh government.

Preliminary work has started in this regard and 3 buildings have been identified for Women’s University Karachi while Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced to provide funds for Women’s University.

Sources said that Sindh government will provide land and other expenses for Women’s University Karachi. Initially, it has been proposed to make Khatun Pakistan Girls College, Apwa Girls College and Government Girls College North Karachi as Women’s University.

It should be noted that this will be the second women’s university in the public sector in Sindh. Earlier, the first government women’s university of the province Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women’s University was established in Sukkur.

There are many private universities for female students in Karachi but there is a lack of Women’s University at the government level and there have been several demands in various forums.
