In the global market – despite the decline in the country – a sharp rise in the price of gold
On the first day of the business week, the price of gold also rose after the appreciation of the dollar in the country.
According to the All Pakistan Jewelers Manufacturers Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 550 per tola to Rs 142,750 at the beginning of the business week.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs 472 to Rs 122,385.
Gold traded lower at 185 1854 an ounce after falling ڈالر 19.
On the other hand, the dollar reached an all-time high in the interbank market.
At the beginning of the day, the dollar rose by 65 paise to Rs 203 in the interbank market. Forex dealers say that the dollar is being sold at Rs 204 to Rs 207 in the open market.
Shortly after, the dollar suddenly rose by Rs 1.65 to Rs 204.
At the end of the day, the dollar rose by a total of Rs 1.51, after which the dollar closed at Rs 203.86.
