Pakistan has signed the Letter of Intent to the IMF

Pakistan has signed a Letter of Intent to the IMF, after which the chances of getting a repayment of $1.17 billion have become clear.

According to Finance Ministry sources, Pakistan has signed a Letter of Intent to the IMF. This signature was signed by the finance minister on the IMF statement of intent and then that statement of intent will be sent back to the IMF today.

According to sources, after receiving the letter of intent, a decision will be taken at the IMF Executive Board meeting, which is likely to be held on August 24.

Sources said that after the Letter of Intent was signed by the IMF, the chances of Pakistan getting the $1.17 billion repayment became clear.
