WhatsApp increased the number of group members to 512

San Francisco: WhatsApp, the world’s most popular messaging app, has increased the number of group members to 512.

WhatsApp , the most popular messenger app owned by Meta, also announced a doubling of the number of group chat members in May 2022 with the introduction of the Reactions feature.

This feature is now available to all users in the WhatsApp.

WhatsApp users can now add 512 people to a group instead of 256. This feature is available in Android, iOS and desktop versions to all users who have WhatsApp up to date.

If you want to see if this feature is available, open the app and click on the 3 dot menu, click on the
Create Group option in this menu and choose the names of one or 2 of your contacts.

Doing so will indicate below the heading of the new group how many of the 512 members you have selected.

A Telegram group can add up to 200,000 people, but WhatsApp has long had a group limit of 256 members, so this new addition will definitely be useful for popular groups.
